Paws to Rest, located near Armathwaite, near Carlisle, was founded in 1991 by Nick Ricketts. Recognising that our pets are part of the family, Nick felt the need to provide a dignified departure for the loved ones of bereaved pet owners and Paws to Rest was born.

Tucked away in the rural lanes of the Eden Valley, looking out onto the rolling Pennine hills, Paws to Rest Crematorium and Woodland Burial Grounds offers a tranquil setting for your beloved pet’s final journey. The Nature Cemetery offers a quiet and dignified resting place while our well-tended gardens offer a haven for you to say a final goodbye to your companion.
